Knitted scarves, far as the eye can see
Limitless in color and style
Scream out-
“I have arrived!”
A zoo of intellects, we thrive
The kaleidoscope city, windy
Our hallways
On the blue-collar scene
The first-rate vampires
Dirt-ridden work boots, running belts
screeching
Like the drunken girls in Kodak
Authority took off and ran some time ago
Suburban keggers,
Beggars and sessions
Dundee, Algonquin, and Kirchoff
“This is our town now…”
and no one’s there to put up a fight
